Hello! My name is Dan Mitchell, and I am a full-time photographer and the owner of Mitchell Multimedia, LLC in Columbus, Ohio. I specialize in music, portraits, special event photography, and video production. 

Capturing images has been a passion of mine ever since I got my first point and shoot camera when I was fifteen. In 2012, I decided to help my best friend pursue his music career as a singer-songwriter. I followed my friend to local open mics and shows, documenting my friend performing and shooting pictures for other local musicians. By the summer of 2014, I had made a name for myself with the local music community as their go-to photographer.

Later in 2014, with the support of my family and friends, I decided to create my own company that specialized in music photography. Since then, I have covered hundreds of local, regional, and national acts. My photography has taken me from my hometown in Ohio all the way to Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and California. 

Since starting my company in 2014, I have learned valuable skills and grown as an artist as well as a business owner. While I’ve consistently worked with musicians, this foundation has also opened doors to portrait photography, weddings and engagements, and other specializations like real estate and product photography. Most recently, I’ve been honing my skills with videography and live stream production.

My goal is to provide exceptional service to all my clients, and I strive to be professional in every situation. Thank you for reading my story, and I hope to work with all of you (in person!) in the years ahead.
